Dr. Neel Patel is a board certified vascular and interventional radiologist specializing in UFE, uterine fibroid embolization, the nonsurgical treatment for uterine fibroids. He is the founder and medical director of the Minimally Invasive Center of Atlanta. Dr. Patel is on a mission to treat and educate women about fibroids and UFE.
Marjorie Coley is a public relations and marketing consultant and President of Coley Connections, a marketing, PR and media relations company. Marjorie is also former award winning journalist, radio news director and talk show host. Marjorie has worked for top Atlanta radio stations including V103, WAOK, Kiss 104, B98.5 FM and WABE. Marjorie also worked as a news anchor at WHUR Radio in Washington, DC. Marjorie is the recipient of numerous awards including awards from the Georgia Association of Broadcasters, the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists, March of Dimes and American Women in Radio and TV. She's was also named one of Atlanta's Most Influential Black Women by the Atlanta Business League for five consecutive years. Marjorie was also featured in Who's Who in Black Atlanta.
Marjorie currently heads the marketing operations for the Minimally Invasive Center of Atlanta. She works closely with UFE and fibroid expert, Dr. Neel Patel, the founder and medical director of the Center. Marjorie is dedicated to educating women about fibroids and UFE, a non-surgical option for the treatment of uterine fibroids. Marjorie participates in a variety of health fairs, community health talks, wellness expos, lunch and learns and other events to increase awareness on how women can be free from fibroid without surgery.
Marjorie graduated cum laude from Howard University in Washington, DC where she majored in broadcast journalism and now resides in Metro Atlanta.
Erica M. Fields is a native New Yorker and a recent graduate of Ultimate Medical Academy where she completed an intense, accredited training program. This included analyzing and coding surgical procedures and diagnosis using ICD-10-CM and CPT codes, collaborate across collection/billing departments to ensure billing related issues are resolved. Maintenance of Medical Charts, Electronic Medical Records systems. Verify insurance eligibility, and submit claims to various insurance companies electronically. She previously trained in computer office administration at Branell and Lawton College in the 1990’s in Atlanta, GA.
Ms. Fields has been in the medical field since 1985, with her last 14 years residing in the Atlanta, GA area. She has a diverse background working as a front office representative to Medical Billing & Coding. She specializes is in Medical Billing, and is a very proud mom of two sons. She has a continued endeavor to assist those in need daily.
